Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organizing the 2nd International Hospitality fair (IHF) from 23rd – 26th February 2009 at BIEC,Bangalore, Karnataka. IHF will be a comprehensive event for all the key elements of the hospitality and allied industries. The fair will provide an ideal business platform for networking, tie-ups, technology assessment & sourcing for the latest in Food & Beverage, Bakery, Wine & Spirits,House Keeping,Interiors & Fixtures, Equipments & Kitchen Equipments, Engineering & Technology. The debut edition of IHF was held in October 2007 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. A much apprecaited effort by CII, the event was inaugurated by Mr Tejendra Khanna, Lt Governor , Delhi & Mr Arvinder Singh Loverly, Minister of Tourism, Govt of NCT of Delhi . Also present at the occasion was Ms Priya Paul of Park Hotels. 2nd IHF will see delegations coming from Hotels across all categories, Resorts,Spa's, Restaurants, Fast food Joints, Guesthouses, Cafe's, Bars, Architects, Interior Designers, Government Officials & Diplomatic Missions,airlines, railways & Hospitality Institutes. Along side exhibtion will be concurrently held events line Tourism Summit, focussed seminar on Food Processing,Wine tasting session,Culinary challenge & Bar tending challenge. Special Attraction would feature Tourism Pavilion promoting indigenous & overseas locations. Rapid urbanization and high economic growth has led the city of Bangalore emerge as commercial capital of Southern India.
